How about this?

The idea is simple, nice and a little "What is this!?" factor.

Or with a little bit more information.

PS: ** Why are these showing as download links instead of images. **
The same type of attachment is showing properly at http://ecere.com/forums/viewtopic.php?f=26&t=74.

And the ad should link to http://ecere.com/roadmap.html or an improved "Contribute" page.

Can anyone write an improved contribute page that would include a link to the roadmap instead of the contribution page being the roadmap?

Please submit any text, html or graphics here.

So depending on how soon we want to submit this ad, you should use that as an excuse to spend an hour or so on that writing. ;)

Any comments on the ad suggestions?

I'm not planning on spending that hour 'that' soon.
I think having the ad really does not have any dependency on that :P

This should fix a transparency failure for the "BSD LICENSED" text.

Ok, my last version.
(We had lost the "Join us!" and I improved the "Cross-Platform GFX/2D/3D/GUI/NET" text.)
